IF YOU DON’T HAVE HAIR SKILLS, YOU ARE LOSING BOOKINGS

A 2-day in-person intensive for makeup artists who are ready to do it all.
What to Expect

You're a talented MUA. But here's the truth nobody tells you when you're starting out — on set, the artists who get called back are the ones who can handle both.

I've spent 18 years working in this industry. I've been on set for Vogue, Elle, Nike, New Balance, Hot Tools and more. And I can tell you firsthand: the MUAs who stay booked are the ones directors and photographers don't have to split the budget for.
If you've ever been on a shoot and quietly handed off the hair — or worse, winged it — this intensive is for you.

❋ The Results

Over two full days, hands-on and in-person, you'll walk away with the core hair skills that actually matter on set and beyond — from blow-dry fundamentals and heat styling to effortless updos and editorial looks. We'll cover every hair type, how to work fast under pressure, and how to start positioning yourself as a full-service artist.

❋ This Is For You If...

✔ You're a working MUA ready to expand what you offer
✔ You've been on set and secretly panicked when hair was part of the job
✔ You want to stop referring out — and start charging more
✔ You want to walk onto any set, for any job, and feel prepared
✔ You've been doing makeup for years and know it's time to level up
✔ You want to build a reputation as a full-service artist

YOUR
INSTRUCTOR

Kacie Corbelle is a Boston-based hair and makeup artist with over 17 years of experience working in editorial, advertising, celebrity, and luxury bridal beauty. Her work has appeared on the cover of Vogue and alongside top talent including Gisele Bündchen.

Over the years, Kacie noticed a common pattern in the industry. Many makeup artists are incredible at makeup, but hairstyling is often something they are expected to just “figure out.” In competitive markets like Boston, artists who cannot offer both hair and makeup simply do not get booked as often. As a result, many artists end up faking it until they make it.

Kacie created Hair Styling 101 for Makeup Artists to bridge that gap. Instead of guessing your way through hair on set days, this course teaches the essential hairstyling techniques every makeup artist should know. Her approach focuses on practical, foundational skills that make hair feel approachable, professional, and polished.

Her goal is to give artists the confidence and technical knowledge to deliver beautiful, camera ready hair that elevates their work and helps them book more clients.

DAY ONE

MASTERCLASS

We start with the why behind the techniques. Through lectures and live demos, you'll learn hair types and textures, the tools that actually matter, heat styling fundamentals, product must-haves, and how to read hair the way you already read skin. You'll watch, absorb, and ask questions.
